As a five-year-old I remember listening to my parents talk about a trip to Los Cabos (a beautiful city in Mexico), never knowing it would be the best vacation of my life and that I’d get to experience several new things. The first thing we did was order a pizza that actually tasted like rotten milk, it made us lose our appetite. I went to the balcony and the view mesmerized me. I could see the blue, shiny body of water never meeting an end.
I dragged my dad downstairs to the beach and as I approached the ocean I felt it go through my toes for the first time. Later that day, we got on a small boat that took us to see “El Arco”( a 200-foot-tall rock that sticks out of the ocean and gets many visits each year).

Although this trip happened about eleven years ago, it’s still the most fun I’ve ever had and there’s no replacement for it. Times were easier, times were colorful, and this memory will always be kept as my happy place.
