As junior and senior year continuously creep up on me, the idea of college twirls around in my mind. Terror strikes me as I begin to think about credits, scholarships, and applications.
Being a junior, importance lies in looking into scholarships and already having a plan. My current set goal is to pursue a major in rehabilitation sciences, leading me to acquire my Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. As of right now, I plan on attending the University of Texas at El Paso. However, I intend on applying to other universities such as Texas A&M, the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas Tech.
My goal over the following summer is to improve my resume and apply for as many scholarships as I possibly can. I hope to become CPR certified and volunteer in a medical center.
Growing up and attending college is a scary sight, but it is something that sneaks up on us all. Though the process will be tedious and stressful, in the end, the title and reward will be worth it.
