El Paso is one big mixing pot of cultures that makes a truly amazing environment. In fact, the culture remains so strong here that there will be a Mexican American Cultural Center soon to come to the heart of the city!

Controversy over the building has risen for many are upset about the location of the structure. The building is set to be built attached to the El Paso Downtown library. Many claim that this center is so valuable to the city’s culture that it deserves its own location. It is also argued that the El Paso Downtown Library is a landmark in itself and should not be added to.
