When it came time to decide what we were going to make, we had a hard time trying to figure out what exactly we wanted to make. At first, the intent was to stick to our Mexican roots and create a classic homemade Mexican dish. However, we decided to push ourselves to the limit and attempt at making our favorite meal: Chicken Alfredo from Olive Garden.

As we began our cooking journey and got caught up in all of the procedures, it was soon realized that we were missing the most valuable ingredient: the cheeses. Now, the recipe called for half a cup of Parmesan and half a cup of Romano. We found it more convenient to buy a bottle of both Parmesan and Romano cheese grated into one. Due to the fact that our cheeses were mixed, we faced a dilemma; we were unsure of how to measure the amount of cheese added. Was it half of the bottle since it was already mixed? Or, was it the entire bottle because it was half a cup of Parmesan plus half a cup of Romano?
The smart decision would have been to add half of the bottle, and then progressively add more. Or, use the remaining cheese as a topping on the final dish. These alternate choices were not thought of at the moment, so, we added the entire bottle. This bestowed many more problems all throughout the meal preparation. However, we were able to find ways to adjust to our mistakes and eventually create a divine dish with an exquisite dining experience!
