The happiest place on Earth.

 

Ever since I was a kid, I remembered begging to experience the world of Disney in a literal way. I dreamed of being able to ride the different attractions and taste the delicious food the park offered. This finally happened when I was in middle school.

 

On my eighth grade year, I was able to make this dream of mine finally happen. The band decided to do an “end of the year trip” which was scheduled during the spring break.  The trip was amongst one of the most exceptional experiences that I have ever had. I remember the parking lot welcoming signs being in different languages for the guests that were arriving from out of the country. I also remember the patio that is between the two parks in Disneyland, being California adventure and the central Disneyland park. The patio had many secret features to it including hidden Mickeys in the architectural and landscaped design. When I entered the park for the first time I was in shock of how friendly the environment was around me. The cast members were amiable and attended all the guests. There was music everywhere in the park, not one corner was silent. The smell of churros overwhelmed my taste buds and made me spend a lot of money just on churros. Overall the experience in the park really let me enjoy being young and made me realize that youth doesn’t have to be temporary.
